Financial Need

I am very excited about the opportunities I have at Olivet Nazarene University. One thing I am worried about is affording it. While I am very thankful for the merit, athletic, and other scholarships I have been awarded, I am still nervous about the cost of my education. Considering the scholarship amount I have already received from Olivet, full tuition is not far away. Achieving this is a financial goal of mine to limit my college debt.

Why My Goals Require Financial Aid

My heart is called to serve in medicine. Job shadowing surgeons and nurse anesthetists and excelling in related classes encourage me to pursue becoming a nurse anesthetist. My love for hard work, science, and working hands-on fulfill this calling. Becoming a nurse anesthetist (CRNA) requires gaining a bachelor of science in nursing and a doctorate in nurse anesthesia practice. My plans to obtain more than one diploma categorize me for financial aid to make my dreams a reality. While searching for a great education, money can be a reason opportunities aren’t realized. My parents will try their best to help me but avoiding debt is a personal goal of mine, and I want to be financially sound when studying for my future important career as a nurse and a CRNA. I chose Olivet Nazarene University because of its standout nursing program and 100% nursing job placement after college.
