Update

Since I last submitted this website, I have been busy as a student-athlete and leader in my community. 
La Porte Youth Unite has continued to grow with new members attending each Thursday morning for donuts and discipleship. Planning for an upcoming mission trip returning to New York City this coming July is in effect. I am super excited to have the opportunity to lead a group that will be teaching BLS and CPR skills to underserved communities in the Bronx. Below is an awesome picture of our huge group that meets every Thursday morning.

As class secretary, I have been busy planning multiple events to make the final stretch of senior year enjoyable. There will be fun activities like senior assassin, senior prank, and a staff vs student basketball game. There will be serving opportunities for a soup kitchen meal, an Earth Day thrift event, and teacher appreciation letters. To lead and bring my class together I will utilize Instagram to post senior decisions and decorate a blank wall at school with pictures of seniors as babies and now. I am also very active on our "Class of 2025" Instagram page where I post student section themes and senior college decisions (see photos below).

FCA has continued to be a positive spiritual event at my school. The other FCA leaders and I have been working hard to improve the quality of the meetings and speakers. I have started making slideshows, games, and activities for our FCA meetings that make them more fun and bring together believers. (See photo below).

In 4-H, I recently became the vice president of La Porte County E-Z Riders (my 4-H club) to utilize my leadership and public speaking skills to help out the club I have been actively involved in for ten years. I also hope to compete for the opportunity to show in La Porte County Fair’s Supreme Showmanship competition again this year.

As you can see, I am an active member and leader in my school and community. Olivet Nazarene University’s Leadership Scholarship would be an opportunity for life-changing money, and I am a candidate who goes above and beyond.
